Here is a really great plastic-free brush used for applying waxes, sealants, and other fabric preservers. The handle is made from beech wood and this bristles are made from ethically sourced horse hair.
Visually impaired craftsmen hand place each bundle of horesehair to the wood handles in a wire pattern that has been used for over a hundred years.
To clean your brushes and keep them lasting long, simply wash them with soap and warm water after use and let dry with the bristles facing down to prevent the wood from splitting. You can also oil the brush with mineral oil from time to time when needed.
